Karsyn Bell Festival
The Karsyn Bell Festival is a festival held in Bristol, In.each year in August, that focuses on children. We show children how easy it is to do a random act of kindness. It is our goal with the festival to make it so families can spend quality time together, learn about the pay it forward concept and have fun without breaking the bank. The festival was renamed in 2010 in honor of 4 year old Karsyn from Bristol that lost her battle to cancer. Although us at Santa's Pantry-Pay It Forward did not know Karsyn personally, many have shared stories with us on how she paid it forward with her child like innocence. The town of Bristol even came together raising $40,000 and built a pirate ship at Congdon Park in her memory because of the huge impact she had on others. It is our honor each year to hold this festival in her memory. Since 2010, donations of funds and/or goods have been made to over 20 local nonprofit organizations from the proceeds from the festival. All given in Karsyn's memory and to encourage others to practice what this little girl taught....Pay It Forward
